Madame Joyce (real name Joyce-Anne Deji) is a content creator born in Ireland and raised in south east England. She is known for creating and hosting the Cocktails and Takeaways Podcast since 2021 and for co-hosting BuzzFeed UK’s Down in the DMs.

Madame Joyce launched her own podcast Cocktails and Takeaways in June 2021, after having made YouTube content on her own personal account in 2019. Cocktails and Takeaways recordings involve Joyce in relaxed conversations with guests over cocktails. Past guests include personalities including Nella Rose, Wunmi Bello and FLO.
Down in the DMs
Down in the DMs is a dilemma-based show in which Joyce and her co-host Victor Kunda act as an agony aunt and agony uncle to advise people how to respond to real life situations. The show launched in 2022.

Madam Joyce’s Personal Life
Madame Joyce was born in Dublin in Ireland, where she lived with her parents in her early years. She later moved to live with her mother and siblings in London. She has stated that her childhood was turbulent, with her having to go to 13 different schools due to her moving from Finsbury Park in north London to Luton and then to Bedford.
Joyce is one of six children and has two younger siblings.
Joyce has spoken about her father playing little role in her life after moving to live with her mother. He later relocated to Houston, Texas with his wife. Joyce and her father have since reconnected.
Joyce attended university in Leicester.
Madam Joyce is of Yoruba heritage and often references her Nigerian background in her content. She has stated that for much of her childhood she was often one of few west African children at her schools.
Joyce became a full-time content creator in 2022, within a year of launching Cocktails and Takeaways. Prior to this she had experience in retail, having worked in-store at River Island and Tesco.
Joyce is a big Nicki Minaj fan and expresses this frequently in her podcast.
Joyce has claimed to have multiple boyfriends at once.
In March 2023 Joyce became an Adidas ambassador.
