What is Life Lessons?
Life Lessons is a music-based lifestyle interview show hosted on the CORD YouTube channel. The platform launched in September 2022.
The show features a pairing of two musicians from different generations asking each other questions, for example a musician that released their first music in the early 2000s compared to one that released their first in the late 2010s. It allows each to find out one another’s perspectives based on different stages of their music careers.
Life Lessons Format
Life Lessons episodes are recorded in a studio setting with the two guests sat facing each other asking open-ended questions about their lives and career choices.
There is no host for the show. The questions are pre-planned by the production team, rather than the artists themselves.
The format replicates the LADbible TV series The Gap.
Each individual Life Lessons recording is split into multiple episodes.
