Corey’s murder is thought to be as a result of Corey’s involvement in death of a 16-year-old from Finsbury Park associated with the Tottenham Mandem gang (as part of a joint enterprise conviction). Corey’s killer has yet to have been conclusively determined.
Margs attended Central Foundations Boys School in Islington, where he formed a long-term bond with the rapper Joe Black. Margs’s mother Janet Wright released a book in 2021 that documents aspects of her life and that of her family. While speaking on the book’s omissions, in an interview Janet revealed that in 2010 she and Margs’ sister were nearly shot at the video shoot for Mashtown and Wiley’s single Between Us.

What are Margs’ nicknames?
Margs is an abbreviation of his original nickname. His brother used to be known as Marga and Margs used to go by Little Marga. Once his brother passed away, he went by Marga. Marga/mauger/marger is a Jamaican patois term for meagre which effectively means skinny. In this sense his nickname (and his brother’s) derived from his body frame in his youth.
